International Airlines to Fiji

Fiji is the central crossroads of the South Pacific and is well serviced by many International Airlines to Fiji. Regardless of which airline you decide to fly with, make sure you shop around to get the best deal and book well in advance as often the really cheap flights will become more expensive as it gets closer to the required date.

Located in the South-Western Pacific Ocean, flying time to Fiji from Europe is about 23 hrs, USA (East Coast) 25 hrs, USA (West Coast) 19 hrs, Asia 12 hrs, Hawaii 7 hrs, New Zealand about 3 hrs and Australia 3-4.5 hrs. These times may vary depending on stop overs.

Fiji has two airports, Nadi International Airport on the western side of Viti Levu and Nausori International Airport located 30 minutes North of Suva. Nadi is the major international airport and has a 24hr currency exchange, car rental & Airline offices, Travel agencies, Newsagent, Cafeteria, Duty Free shop, Post Office and the Fiji Visitors Bureau.

The highlight of your arrival however, will surely be the friendly greeting from the singing, smiling, guitar-playing welcoming committee - just make sure you have your camera ready before you get to Customs as you will be greeted by a rousing shout of "BULA!" - even if it is 5 O'Clock in the morning!
